About us
E Hockey Development was founded four years ago by Judd Stauss with a clear purpose: elevate the skill development of youth hockey players through intentional, high‑quality training. What began as a small, focused effort has grown into a development philosophy built on efficiency, repetition, and world class methodology.
Our Training Philosophy
EHD is built around a low work‑to‑rest ratio, ensuring players stay engaged, energized, and able to perform each rep with precision. Every drill is designed to maximize touches, repetitions, and decision making opportunities because elite skill is built through consistent, high quality practice.
Much of EHD’s approach is inspired by the training models used in Finland and Sweden, two of the world’s leaders in hockey skill development. These countries emphasize creativity, puck control, and game transferable skills, and EHD brings those same principles to every session.
Our Mission
To develop confident, skilled, and intelligent hockey players by providing training that is efficient, modern, and rooted in proven international development standards.
What Sets Us Apart
- Repetition with purpose — players get more meaningful reps in less time.
- Modern European influenced methods — focusing on creativity, skating efficiency, and puck skills.
- Player centered development — every session is designed to build long term skill, not short term habits.
